SYNOPSIS

When Peter Brook´s iconic masterpiece THE MAHABHARATA was first seen on television at the beginning of the 90s, it was hailed as ‘the television event of the decade’ and broadcast all over the world. Peter Brook sadly passed away in 2022, but his son Simon secured funding for remastering the material. The stunningly restored series of (six episodes at 55 minutes) will now be available again in UHD for another generation of television audiences to enjoy, just in time to celebrate Peter Brook´s 100th birthday in 2025.
