SYNOPSIS

Yvan Vaffan is a fictive personality, a dancer and choreographer who spent his life studying the classical pas de deux before giving up dancing. Jean-Claude Gallotta was inspired by this character to go through many of the academic dance movements and exercises with as a centre piece an ironic take on the classical pas de deux which ends violently.

Recorded at Centre chorégraphique national de Grenoble
