SYNOPSIS

Dancer and choreographer Joëlle Bouvier has a second go at the eternal theme of unconditional love after her Romeo and Juliet in 2010. For her latest creation she uses Wagner´s Tristan score reduced to 90 minutes while maintaining the original structure of three acts. Following the medieval plot she creates a moving ballet about love and death. The subtitle is taken from Isolde´s farewell to Brangäne in act 1, scene four of the opera and a valuable motto for the piece which shows the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève in top form.
